Perhaps your true aim in quoting those particular verses is to instill fear and disdain into people’s minds so they avoid reading this Quran by mentioning the most severe torments of hell. Here’s a hint, according to almost all muslim scholar it is those who knows Islam to be the truth yet they reject the message, that person is a disbeliver.Īs for the punishment of hell, those who qualifies for such punishment will be picked by God.
Who is a disbeliever? is it the person who is reading this text with no knowledge of islam or is it the person who has knowledge of islam and knows it to be the truth yet they are not willing to submit to God. The Quran is big on the punishment of the disbelievers. “Yet anyone who does evil or wrongs his own soul and then asks God for forgiveness will find Him most forgiving and merciful.”(Quran, 4:110) Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.”” (Quran, 39:53) “Say, “O My servants who have transgressed against themselves, do not despair of the mercy of Allah. They will have therein fruits (of all kinds) and all that they ask for.
